Ringstar Tsushima Ocean Plastic Parts Case

A project to save the ocean from Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture, which has no seawall!
This parts case is made from 10% ocean plastic that washed up on the shores of Tsushima City, Nagasaki Prefecture, and is "recycled yet durable enough for outdoor use."

Features

  • The bottom is curved to make it easy to remove even small parts such as swivels, snaps, and sinkers.
  • The divider type can be divided at 5.5mm intervals, so you can freely customize it to suit what you want to put in. It is also ideal for managing lures of different sizes to suit various situations.
  • The dividers are designed not to come off easily and not to shift left or right, so the contents will not get mixed up while moving or working.

Project Mission

Tsushima City, Nagasaki Prefecture, is known as the "breakwater for marine litter" because of the amount of ocean plastic that washes ashore. This product contains 10% of blue plastic tanks (made of polyethylene), of which more than 2,000 wash ashore annually.
Ocean plastic is constantly washed up from the ocean, is highly polluted and soiled, is costly to reuse, and is difficult for companies to continue handling, so it has not been actively recycled until now.

At Ringstar, we have been working hard to develop storage items that can be used for a long time, even though they are made from recycled plastic, by taking advantage of the strong structure and long life that we have achieved through the technology of our long-established company, founded in 1887.
With the cooperation of the Nara Industrial Testing Center, we conducted durability tests and recorded load-bearing values ​​that were exactly the same as those of conventional products.
For this reason, we use recycled plastic, which has been considered to be of concern in terms of strength, but this product is "recycled yet can be used for a long time in the outdoors."

When we thought about what we could do as Ringstar Co., Ltd. as we approached the stage of commercializing the product, we decided that through this product to clean up the seas of Tsushima, we wanted to create a world in which all companies take various issues seriously, rather than the "SDGs" being merely a formality for the sake of image.
As a manufacturer that mainly handles plastic products, Ringstar Co., Ltd. will continue to work towards the goal of creating a world where people "choose right, dispose right, and deal right."

*This product is made by mixing pellets made from crushed blue plastic containers with virgin pellets. By mixing the two types of pellets, the blue spots appear, but this does not affect the durability or functionality.

How long does it take to receive the order?

Items in stock will be shipped the same day if ordered by 3pm. However, we will not be shipping on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
